In a country famous for introducing the world to tapas, Granada reigns king in that it's one of the few cities where you can still get free tapas with your drinks. When you order a beverage - be it beer, wine or soda - bartenders will also serve up a generous serving of tapas. Expect anything from cheese and ham to olives, toasts with toppings, fried eggplant, meatballs... the possibilities are neverending!

As if free food isn't enough, Granada has a surprisingly lively nightlife scene... especially considering its moderately small size. Thanks to the vibrant and international university population, nocturnal Granada caters to the crowd with an exciting and eclectic mix of bars, clubs and places to just hang out.
