Spanish Art History Course Granada
As you'll quickly see, Granada is a vibrant city brimming with magnificent works of architecture, painting and sculpture hailing from throughout the many epochs of Spanish history. To truly acquire an in-depth understanding of the artistic productions of a culture that is not your own, however, it takes more than simply wandering through a museum with a tourist's eye.
For this very reason we offer the Spanish + Art History Course, a wonderful option for those students who want to immerse themselves in Spanish art history and acquire a greater understanding of the incredible sights that constantly surround them in Barcelona. We will examine some of Spain's most important artistic trends and works in a variety of mediums and study the influence of the major civilizations that have passed through Spain and influenced Spanish art history. Some of Spain's most prominant art history trends include Roman, Moorish, Mudéjar, Renaissance, Baroque, etc.
We will also dedicate time to learning about Spanish art history's most prominant artists, such as Goya, Velázquez, Picasso, Miró, Dalí...
